We went to Nebraska and got to see all the family. Unfortunately we did not get pictures with Uncle Christian.
Everything grows in Nebraska. Braelyn is picking veggies with Grandma.
Here's what they got.
Braelyn got her first haircut while here. She needed her mullet trimmed off and she said she would only do it if Grandma did it. She's a little upset that Mommy actually cut it off instead of Grandma.
She's so happy about it.
The newly trimmed hair. I probably should have cut a little more off, oh well.
I went to a conference at Concordia while we were there. Nate and his parents took the girls to the Children's Museum that day. Here's Addison's smushed face.
They had a special vet exhibit, and Braelyn loved the stuffed dogs.
Addison riding a police motorcycle.
Sisters on the giant chair.
Braelyn driving a tractor with Grandpa in the background.
Braelyn with Great-Grandma.
Four generations on Nate's mom's side of the family.
The girls with Grandma and Grandpa.
We took a day to go visit my grandpa, so here's four generations on my mom's side of the family.
Great-grandpa making friends with Addison.
Grandma and Grandpa took us to the county fair. Here's Braelyn looking at rabbits with Grandpa.
Addison is walking around the ducks.
Grandpa and Braelyn petting sheep.
Petting a calf.
We watched a milking demonstration and Braelyn tried milking.
The girls with Grandma and Grandpa. Addison warmed up to my dad by the end of the trip.
Back at home...Braelyn had to wear her new Nebraska dress right away. (it has a logo in one corner, hard to see white on light pink...excuse the crazy hair.
It was a good trip! Hard to come home. Back to meetings tomorrow and the girls start pre-school next Monday.
