"Daddy bought them Minnie Pull-ups!" We hear that at least once a day, ever since Daddy took Braelyn to Costco and bought a big box of Minnie and Cinderella pull-ups (ter-rella, according to Braelyn, who has no idea who Cinderella is, but is very excited about it anyway). Autumn thought that Braelyn was ready for potty training, so I had gotten her some pull-ups to use at Autumn's. Not so ready for potty training. She is generally slightly willing to sit on the toilet, but never has actually used it. But she insists on pull-ups now. I was hoping to use up all the ones we had and go back to regular diapers until she is more interested in training or summer came, whichever was first...because we really don't have time at the moment to watch her like a hawk and get her to the toilet. I'm about ready to throw out all the Minnie Pull-ups. Daddy is currently her hero.
Tonight she cried because she wanted to wear Hunter's leash and harness on our walk. We were taking Hunter so that was a bit of a problem. We went on the walk around the neighborhood with her wearing the collar we got for Howie and an extra leash. Not sure what the people thought who saw us.
We are having a bit of a struggle with calling people and things "stupid". We apparently say that a bit too much to Hunter. Today I was "stupid Mommy", which resulted in a time out and wearing a Cinderella pull-up when she changed her mind half way through getting one on and decided she wanted a Minnie. Actually, taking the pull-ups away is a great tool...
7 more weeks until my due date. Four more weeks until school is over (5 until meetings are over). It's hot. We almost have the office cleaned out, we just need to get the clothes and carseat out of the attic. I just want to be done with school and have a little time to actually get some things done.
