This has been a long time coming! Braelyn's birthday was over spring break, so we did a little "staycation" to celebrate. We opened gifts at home (early in the morning), and had cake at lunch, and then went to the hotel that evening. She changed clothes about 6 times during the day because she had to wear all the outfits she got. Minnie was the theme of the day.
Braelyn and all the presents from grandparents and aunt.
Playing with her name puzzle made by Grandpa Bartels. You can see the bubble machine from Aunt Becky.
Outfit change courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa Hagge.
Opening a present from Mom and Dad (puzzles).
Addison amongst the presents.
The Minnie cake and candles (I didn't do quite as good a job this year as last year).
Daddy and Braelyn drew on the driveway in honor of her birthday.
Here are pictures of the stay at the hotel. It is supposed to be a "resort"--time share type thing. It had hammocks in the pool area, which Braelyn liked to swing on.
Daddy with the girls.
Braelyn likes to push Addison in the stroller. She does OK with it.
Addison on the hammock in her swimsuit.
Addison liked the water!
Braelyn posing on the stairs to the water slides.
Family picture!
Addison was safe, though she's looking rather dubious about Braelyn's abilities to hold her.
Braelyn is being goofy.
Oh, and the caterpillar/cocoon did turn out to be a moth...it died before we figured out that it had "hatched"...guess we weren't watching it well. :)
